Rugmart was referred to us by an existing client as they wanted to get more visitors to their website and more visits to their showroom.
Before we did anything, we performed a full SEO and Usability audit to assess issues with the website. Our findings showed mix of duplicate content, indexed paginated results and there was an extensive list of WordPress plugins that slowed the site down.
We redeveloped the theme using the latest features in WordPress 4 and focused on improving the performance of the website. We migrated all their content over to a new installation of WordPress and simplified how the website was put together. This meant the owner could login and update content easily without worrying about how it will appear on tablets and mobile phones.
The new website was launched successfully and we were asked to help Rugmart with Search Engine Optimisation. We started researching topics that their customers would be likely to read on the company’s blog.
